Duty free at Keflavik International Airport offers a wide range of assortments. Here we can purchase candy, perfume, alcohol, cigarettes, medicines, toys, etc.
The store is arranged in such a way that we don't have to squeeze between shelves like at other airports. Immediately after passing security, we have to go through the duty free store. On exiting it, we end up so the departure hall, where there are other stores and restaurants.
Unfortunately, the prices are very high and are nowhere near duty-free prices.
On the plus side, there are self-service checkout counters, with a staff member standing by to help.
The downside is the long lines, while the upside is the very friendly and cultured staff. This is a very nice change in Iceland, where service is abysmal in most places.

I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much at a duty free shop before. Actually no, I’ve never spent so much. There were just so many great options! Little things of alcohol that you could get, Icelandic chocolate, and other Icelandic candy all came home with me thanks to this being here.

Marek was attentive and very helpful! We were first-time visitors to Iceland looking to buy alcohol for our trip. Marek made excellent recommendations and explained what they paired well with for cocktails. He has in-depth knowledge of various liquors and took the time to explain everything. His top recommendation was mixing plain vodka, blueberry liquor, and Sprite. Another tasteful drink he recommended was mixing equal parts strawberry gin, limoncello, and club soda. We really enjoyed our drinks on the trip thanks to Marek’s wonderful recommendations!

We stop by on arrival and departure. They have a good selection of items. Enjoyed the exclusive whiskey, Scotch, and cigar that you may not find back home.

Quite a lot of Icelandic only liquor with a reasonable price, and you can also get good Icelandic skincare products here.
