Stay was nice overall. Good location, quiet. Our "room with a view" looked out onto...farm equipment. Still. The bed was comfortable. Hosts ask that you not leave the windows open to keep the bugs out and not adjust the temperature controls. However, it was so bloody hot that we had to open the windows. No bugs came in, I promise. The view on the other side of our room was quite gorgeous, so no big deal that we didn't have it. Easy self check in.

Eenvoudig huisje nr. 61 met basis benodigdheden. Toen we kwamen was alles netjes. Locatie is een beetje afgelegen in een mooi natuur.
Minpunten:
Lucht filter was niet schoon. WC spoelt heel slecht door. Matrassen zijn aan zachter kant. Check in stond tot 18 uur dus hebben we gehaast om op tijd te zijn maar was niet nodig omdat op de deur van receptie stond uitgelegd hoe we zelf in huisje konden komen.

IT WAS DISGUSTING‼️ the doors are really hard to lock. The beds in some rooms are kind of broken and the wall is cracked. At night it sounds like water is leaking in the wall and it probably is…. BEDS HAVE BED BUGS‼️ there is mold everywhere THE SHOWER ESPECIALLY!! the bathrooms were terrifying, they were moldy, full of bugs, and had little to no hot water. The pictures u see in other reviews are only pictures of the good cottages which is cottage number 55 and the other big ones. cottages number, 52, 53 are GROSSS‼️ please don’t stay here!!! the only reason the location rating is high is because the place has a really nice view of the mountains, the sunset to watch there is gorgeous, and the lavender fields are gorgeous. the horses are cute too. IF U CAN PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE BETTER!

I cottage sono comodi, caldi e dotati del necessario per cucinare. I letti sono un po’ piccoli. Non ci sono prese vicino al letto e nemmeno interruttori per la luce. Non sono molto insonorizzati. Sono a pochi chilometri di Borgarnes in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Self check in molto comodo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

On finit notre séjour en Islande par l'endroit le plus désolant. On arrive sur un lieu de dépôt de ferraille avec des hangars qui servent de chambres. La propreté du logement laisse à désirer. Très peu d'équipement pour le côté cuisine. Le logement est vieillissant et a besoin d'un rafraîchissement.

dass es klein und eng ist, ist kein Problem, dafür ist der Preis ok. Aber unsaubere Zimmer, dass geht gar nicht……dreckig ohne Ende, eine absoluter Skandal! Wir kommen nie wieder in diese Unterkunft. Keine Empfehlung

We spent one night in the Laekjarkot Rooms. It was a great location, very close to pretty Borgarnes , but being outside the town it offers nice nature views and a quiet stay. The rooms are on the farm with private parking. Laekjarkot has check-in only until 6 PM, but we emailed the owners about our late arrival, and they left the information for us on the reception door. Our room was simple, clean, warm, and it had a good soundproofing. The beds were comfortable. Internet was fine. There was a well equipped tiny kitchenette with the double burner stovetop, sink and refrigerator just next to the bed, so there was no space left for bedside table. We didn’t use the refrigerator because of possible noise. We did the simple cooking, but the size of the kitchenette was too small to be practical. We recommend this place for a location and a good price.

Unterkunft war nicht sauber, die Handtücher haben gemüffelt, überall war Staub. Die Betten waren super klein. Die Matratzen waren uralt und sehr durchgelegen. Man hat jeden Draht im Rücken gespürt. Das Bad war eiskalt, da die Heizung nicht richtig funktionierte. Der Wasserhahn in der Küche tropfte ununterbrochen. Es sah so aus, als wäre dies den Gastgebern bereits bekannt, da bei unserer Ankunft ein Schwamm im Becken lag, um die Tropfen aufzufangen und das Geräusch zu dämpfen. Unterirdische Unterkunft! Es hat überall komisch gerochen. Nicht zu empfehlen.
