Excellente établissement qui offre des prestations de qualité à l'un des prix les plus attractifs que nous ayons trouvé pour notre groupe de 8... les chambres sont spacieuses et propres, avec tout le nécessaire excepté le mini-bar. Attention, suivant la période, pensez à prendre un masque de sommeil pour dormir plus sereinement compte tenu de la lumière continuelle... Le personnel s'est montré accueillant, serviable et professionnel. Le petit déjeuner est très simple mais de bonne qualité... manque tout de même du vrai café type machine.

This is a very nice hotel. We especially enjoyed meeting the lady at the front desk. Unfortunately we did not get her name, but she is from Tanzania. She was kind and helpful. ||The free breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It included waffles, deli meats, cheese, sweets, bread and cereal. ||It's in a good location, about 15 minutes from Reykjavik and about 25 minutes from the airport.

Pretty okay experience at this property. The room was nice and tidy. The only problem was that the bathroom had water logging issues both in the sink and the shower room. Since it was only 1 night for us we didn't complain or ask for maintenance help. Otherwise, the stay was pretty good. Good location.

I stayed here for three nights on a recent trip.||I felt a bit overwhelmed with where to stay in Iceland. I knew I didn't need to stay in downtown so this looked like a good place to stay.||We had a car so plenty of parking available. I believe there was a bus stop close by but I imagine it would be a bit of a pain waiting around for buses.||Check in was easy and friendly. We had a quick drink in the bar before heading up to our room.||Room was spacious and clean upon arrival. Plenty of towels. Tea, coffee etc in the room. I bought lots of snacks with us including some cuppa pastas so we had that and some meat for dinner to try and keep costs down.||Breakfast was plentiful and whilst they do ask not to remove food, I did take a small tuppaware box with me and took some cheese, ham and bread to eat later. I also took a coffee flask with me so was able to bring a hot coffee with me in the car.||There isn't much to this hotel other than rooms and bar/breakfast area. It's very quiet.||I was disappointed with housekeeping. They simply emptied the bin. Didn't make the beds or hoover. we arrived Friday, then came in Saturday and nothing on Sunday.||I shared a Tiktok of the breakfast so please search the hotel name or our name explorewithethan2021 to view.

Een van de slechtste hotels van IJSLAND. Direct naast snelweg, ramen isoleren geluid niet, er hangt een nare stank in het hotel, verwarming maakt hele nacht herrie, ontbijt is heel beperkt, geen sapjes, geen warme eieren of iets dergelijks, een soort jam boter uit een grote schaal scheppen.

Dit hotel is elke ISK of EURO niet waard om aan uit te geven, een kartonnen doos is comfortabeler....

Even reageren op de reactie van het hotel. Ondanks de verschillende kamers die wij gekregen hebben blijft het helaas de waarheid dat het een hotel is waar een zeer onaangename geur hangt, dit ligt niet aan de snelweg die ernaast loopt. Ook sluiten de ramen niet goed want het geluid van het langsrazende verkeer is duidelijk minder hoorbaar op de gang. Ik ben zeer dankbaar dat wij uiteindelijk, na aanhoudend klagen een kamer aan de andere kant van het hotel hebben gekregen.
Het personeel is vriendelijk en het hotel is helaas een die wij zeer afraden om naartoe te gaan.

I stayed one night at Hotel Vellir due to an early flight and checked in late, so I didn’t have the opportunity to use most of the facilities. My room on the fourth floor had a noticeable chemical smell, and there was some background noise from music in the area. I was also briefly disturbed at 1 a.m. by another guest—unfortunate, but not something I’d hold against the hotel.

That said, I appreciated the thoughtful breakfast grab bag provided, which included a ham and cheese sandwich, a donut, an apple, and orange juice—perfect for travellers on the go. Reception was also open at 3:45 a.m. when I left, which made checking out smooth and hassle-free.

Overall, it was a functional and convenient stay for my travel needs, despite a few minor discomforts.

这是一件非常糟糕的酒店，隔音非常糟糕，隔壁房间和大路的噪音传入，早餐餐厅里一位女服务员区别对待亚洲客人，我们去10多人对他的行为非常的愤怒，提醒酒店管理者在这个现代文明的社会里互相尊重教育和员工人人平等是最基本的准则

Very nice hotel between the airport and Reykjavik. It's very clean, the staff is A++, there's nothing extra but also nothing we felt like was missing. I really liked that they partnered with the gym next door instead of a small hotel gym so you can get a nice workout in. We didn't try the restaurant - there was a bonus a short walk away so we just bought some snacks there for dinner.
