l'alloggio rispecchiava la descrizione, nel complesso siamo stati soddisfatti. quando si viaggia condividendo la casa con altri ospiti ignoti, la variabile è costituita dagli ospiti stessi, purtroppo durante il nostro soggiorno gli altri ospiti sono stati un po' rumorosi e hanno cucinato pietanze ricche di aglio, che è stato difficile sopportare. inoltre per via dei moscerini non si potevano aprire le finestre per arieggiare. ciò ovviamente non ha niente a che fare con l'host.

unica pecca: mancava l'asciugacapelli (o forse qualche altro ospite lo aveva monopolizzato?)

in questa area geografica è molto difficile trovare alloggi a buon prezzo, questo era valido, lo consiglierei.
Strada sterrata in buono stato per raggiungere l'alloggio. Ampio parcheggio.

Camere carine, più confortevole il disimpegnò cucina e salottino con le tavole. Sono presenti dei giochi da tavolo. Pecca più grande è che per il nr. di camere ci sono soltanto 2 bagni al piano superiore e le docce sono all'interno del bagno.

Schone kamer, schone badkamer en een keuken met veel voorzieningen. De koffie was voor mij wel een heel goede bijkomstigheid. Prima plek om een paar dagen te verblijven als je een stuk zuid/Oost ijsland wil verkennen. Het plaatsje höfn ligt op 3km afstand en heeft een goed restaurant, supermarkt en tankstation.

Total RIP OFF

We would have been pleasantly surprised, even showing indulgence, if the prices were reasonable… around 100-120 euros (their prices off-season). Because it cannot be more for such facility

That would been acceptable. It is normal earns money.
But 550 euros in summer is a rip off: it is 6 times the price it should be.
We thought we would have had real rooms and a furnished kitchen and staff to help.
No, we had:
- a 4 beds bedroom of 12-14m2 surface only
- walls between bedrooms too thin that you can est your neighbours when they move in the bed. No sound isolation.
- shared toilets and bathrooms - they were clean but not fully furnished some water leaks and low pressure water do not matter
- noisy neighbours talking loud or having a shower at 12am. As the walls are thin you hear all noises and you don’t sleep well.
- toilets get dirty quickly with neighbours
- kitchen that is large with a coffee machine where you do all by yourself including the cleaning
- you look for someone from the house for a question or indication : no one is available
- holes in the wall
- bedrooms and all built quickly at low costs
- etc

All of that I can accept but not for 550 euros a Night. Unacceptable.

Excellent location and very well maintained guesthouse. The juice and coffee machines in the kitchen are a nice touch!
Dark and open in all directions, perfect for stargazing and aurora watching right from your room or parking lot.

Quite shabby place. We took a quadruple room and ended up in a very small and very hot room with a window that could only be opened from the outside (absurd). The shower was shared and not so clean. The common room was nice but overall the place is definitely not worth the price
