There are 3 adjoining units and we had the studio apartment which is next to the parking lot.

The villa prides itself in an architectural aspect amd has books showcasing its work. It faces the lake and has beautiful views of the town across it. Kitchen is open concept and the bed located on a mezzanine floor above.

Overall a comfortable stay but there were some areas which could be improved on practicality:
1. Heating comes from the floor. We were here in mid March but still felt cold.
2. Very basic kitchen utensils. At least there was salt and cooking oil. Would be great if kitchen towels and sponge was provided to help in cleaning up after use.
3. Would be great if shower foam or shampoo is provided.

This accommodation was quite disappointing, especially given how good it looked in the photos.

1.The living room is decorated with books and photos proudly showcasing the architect’s design work, clearly meant to impress. But in reality, the functionality is poor. The ceiling above the bed is so low that even at 170 cm, I hit my head climbing in. It feels like more thought went into showing off than making the space actually livable.
2. The shower area is uncomfortably small.
3. Cleanliness was an issue. There were crumbs on the sofa and chairs upon arrival.
4. I booked two units but only received access to one. Despite messaging through Booking.com and iMessage, I got no response. When I finally called the owner, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake.

Villa Lola is a modern arti looking house, but it lacks essential comfort for a Holiday home. First of: don’t let the photo’s misguide you: the house contains 3 appartments. Our part had a very nice view over the Fjordur looking at Akureyre. Really very nice. The living room has no comfortable chairs, you can only sit at the dining table or a very uncomfortable fixed windowsill.
Within the livingroom is a small simple kitchen, containing only 2 spots for a coocking pot. There is no dishwasher. Kitchengear is simple and not complete.
Main bedroom ( at loft) can be reached bij an “open” staircase, very uncomfortable and 100% not suited for elderly people or, like me, someone have difficulty walking.
The ceiling at the loft with beds is to low, you will bump your head for sure. Other bedroom has a bunk bed only.
Bathroom is functional but small with simple interior.
In all: it looks good on the pictures, but it’s uncomfortable in nearly every aspect and because of that by far to expensive. 2 stars for the view and architectual look.

Dalle foto (molto ben fatte) pubblicate su Booking sembrava una delle migliori guesthouse che avevamo scelto per questa vacanza, ma purtroppo c'è stata troppa attenzione al design e poca alla praticità: il letto è posizionato su un soppalco troppo basso sul quale ho sbattuto la testa più volte (nonostante io sia basso), il supporto del doccino era rotto, la doccia è sullo stesso livello del pavimento del bagno ed allaga tutta la casa (tant'è che nella doccia è stato posizionato un lavavetri per recuperare l'acqua e spingerla verso lo scarico prima che arrivi in cucina). Peccato perché dal punto di vista architettonico e del design prometteva bene.

Villa Lola is a perfect adult getaway in Puerto Vallarta!
Situated in the Romantic zone close to the beach and in the center of all the activities, bars, restaurants and nightlife!
The 7 suites are very comfortable and well appointed.
The service and breakfast is fantastic!
Great coffee!
We relaxed under the roof top palpa and cooled off in the pool!
We will be back!

Very cool, The view is amazing looking over the Fjord. I would highly suggest this place. It isn't the coziest or most well designed building, but it is very very cool at night. I am especially glad they decided to build big windows on the side of the house looking over the town.

Great place. The staff was so nice, and helpful. Very friendly, they all make you feel home. The place is beautiful and very clean!! Breakfast was just perfect! And Villa Lola has a great location. Highly recommended!

Awesome place. The accommodations were great but the views were incredible with Akureyri and the mountains in the background. Highly recommended if you can book a stay here. Met some kids here doing a documentary on Iceland. Made the stay even more interesting as they had good advice on what to do and where to go from a local's perspective.
