Si trova vicino all'aeroporto e il cottage aveva delle buone dimensioni con tutto il necessario in cucina e in bagno, presenti anche lavatrice e asciugatrice. I prezzi sono un po' alti anche per la vasca esterna. Quando ho soggiornato io pioveva e non sono riuscito ad utilizzarla, peccato!

What a wonderful place! My bag was delayed, so we had to go straight to Reykjavik from KEF airport, to the place that lends clothes. Whilst there we replaced the toiletries and washing up liquid, coffee, tea, etc, that was in my case. If my case was there we would've checked in first. There were also plenty of toilet rolls - something most places don't supply enough of.||When we arrived we discovered that the cabin was stocked with ample washing up liquid, a sponge, tea, coffee, dried milk and shampoo and conditioner, so we didn't |need all the extra stuff.||The blackout blinds were really good at keeping out the light from the longer days.||As well as being very well stocked, the cabin was in the most idyllic location. Brilliant base for exploring South Iceland. The sunsets were magical, especially with the setting sun on one side and the moon risen on the other.||It's quiet and safe for children, we didn't walk to the beach, but it is nearby.||There are local shops in the two nearby villages, but there is a big Bonus and Kronan. in a shopping park in Keflavik, which is what we used.||We stayed for a week, and it was definitely comfortable enough for us. Yes it's compact, but we loved it.||Highly recommended, one of our favourite places to stay ever.

Great place for a few nights exploring. Hot tubs are a lovely addition. Even on a night of "low level activity" we still managed to see the northern lights.
Rooms are very clean with everything needed including a very well-equipped kitchen.
Check-in process seamless.

Lovely spot but very hard to access without a car. We had to pay $80 CAD each way to the airport and back eveb though it is 15 mins away.

The actual cabin is cute and fun, had good kitchen and cooking facilities and hot tub was lovely.

Great escape and overnight stay but keep in mind there is nothing around. The closest town is a 50 min walk and there is essentially nothing there.

I'd probably recommend taking the bus and staying in Reykjavik instead unless you have a car or want to escape the city busyness.

Quite expensive for one night.

Die Ocean Break Cabins sind einfach genial gelegen. 10 min entfernt vom Flughafen eignen sie sich ideal als erste oder letzte Unterkunft des Urlaubs.
In unserer Hütte gab es ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett und ein Zimmer mit Stockbetten. Für große Personen wie mich sind die Stockbetten ungeeignet, daher habe ich auf der Schlafcouch geschlafen. Für eine Nacht ging das. Wir hatten starken Wind und es war daher sehr laut in der Hütte, was aber an der Natur der Sache liegt.
Besonderes Highlight war der Hot Tub. Diesen haben wir als wir ankamen direkt befüllt, was auch Sinn macht, da das Füllen locker mal 1,5h gedauert hatte. Temperatur war dann 36 grad.
Alles in Allem eine sehr gute Unterkunft. Man merkt, dass sich die Gastgeber Mühe gegeben haben.

We did a last minute reservation based on the aurora forecast. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The cabin was very clean, the hot tub instructions were very clear and easy to use. The mattress was comfortable and the views were perfect. Radiator heat was very effective. There was also a family of swans just outside the main bedroom window. A great place to slow down before heading to the airport.
* I didn’t realize cabins A and B share a wall. This was not an issue even with another family staying next door and using their hot tub.

The location is perfect for peace and quiet. It was very warm in the cabin despite the -9 and howling winds. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy to get to and from the main roads and highways. It is equipped with everything you need if you choose to cook. The hot tub looked inviting but I underestimated my time and did not have the chance to use it😕The host is very quick to respond to any questions you may have. Just a very lovely place.
