Förum þarna til að fara í sund og pottana, kemur þa stór hópur sem var að koma úr ánni og fara úr fötunum utandyra og beint í pottin á nærfötum.
Staðarhaldari gerir enga athugasemd og stuttu síðar kom annar hópur og gerir það sama.
Mæli ekki með nema þú viljir baða þig í skítugum nærfötum af öðrum.

Guesthouse a 10 minuti dalla strada 1 per il tour della Ring Road. Versatilità per le sistemazioni che variano dal piccolo appartamento indipendente, al campeggio fino alla camera in guesthouse, dove abbiamo soggiornato. La camera dispone di un lavandino privato mentre i servizi igienici erano in comune al piano. Dispone anche di un area comune in struttura separata dotata di cucina e tutto il necessario per prepararsi un pasto caldo. La colazione non una delle migliori che ho fatto in Islanda però offriva diverse scelte. Questa guesthouse dispone anche di una piccola piscina di acqua calda e 2 vasce più piccole con acqua bollente.

Wonderful experience at Bakaflöt – perfect for groups and families

We had a fantastic stay at Bakaflöt with a group of around 40 people, including lots of children. The camping area was spacious and well-kept, and everything about the setting felt relaxed and welcoming — a true Icelandic countryside vibe.

Special thanks to Klara, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. She really went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt at home. Her warmth made a big impression on all of us.

The two swimming pools were a big highlight, especially for the kids, and added a nice touch to the overall experience. We also had a cabin for part of the group, which was comfortable and convenient without taking away from the outdoor feel.

All in all, Bakaflöt is a lovely local spot with great service, a beautiful environment, and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended!

We stayed here in a 2 person cabin for two nights the first full week of August 2025. The cabin was absolutely lovely and the location was extremely scenic. Everything was clean and felt nice. The water was hot, things weren't too cramped. I have no complaints. The Bakkaflot complex was a smidge confusing and we didn't do anything but stay at night so I have nothing to say about the rest of the area.

Spent 3 nights / 2 days here with a school group, as one of 6 adults minding the teenagers.||I had a private room, shared bathroom. The rooms are clean and neat. My bed and bedding was extremely comfortable, the air quality was good and I could make the room as cool or warm as I liked which was nice. Despite the shared bathroom, my room had a sink just for me, which made it a lot more comfortable.||There are two hot tubs and a small swimming pool just outside of the shower rooms, with a stunning view of the mountains. We did a lot of adventure activities - bubble ball, wipe-out course, paintball and white water rafting.||The guides and staff are extremely professional, very focused on safety, and made sure everybody had a lot of fun while staying safe.||We had full board while we were there. The breakfast was a smorgasbord, very typically Icelandic, high quality food. For lunch and dinner we had hamburgers, pizza, and grilled chicken in different meals. The food was good and there was plenty of it, everybody was happy.||I highly recommend Bakkaflöt as a place to go for adventure activities like rafting, and I was delighted by how comfortable the acommodations were and how helpful and friendly the staff was.

This was BY FAR, the sweetest, most adorable overnight landing spot we have had on our Ring Road tour. We upgraded to a cabin as the main house room was the typical size and accommodations at guesthouses - small room, single beds, sink, shared bath, shared water closet. Our cabin, however, has a private deck, giant windows, our own deluxe bathroom with a gorgeous shower, plus a table, chairs, counters, and two beams. We parked right by our cabin and could relax and enjoy the many geothermal pools.
