Komum við á Dalahóteli til að fa okkur að borða á veitingastaðnum. Sjáum ekki eftir því. Mjög góður matur, sérstaklega góð sveppasúpa. Þjónustan vinaleg - og allt mjög heimilislegt. Umhverfið fallegt og margir möguleikar til útivistar allt í kring. Komum örugglega aftur og þá vonandi til að gista líka. Frábær aðstaða fyrir barnafjölskyldur.

Superb spot for resting and recreation. Great location for visiting hot spring, which is in very close proximity (around 2 minutes walk). Hotel is filled with activities, classy chill room, game room filled to the brink with stuff to do (and with activities for children as well!) lots of books and cool looking paintings. Whole place looks super cozy and stylish, area is clean and very well maintained. There is also super warm (around 38 degrees!) swimming pool in direct area, it’s a sin not to try it out. And finally staff, such a helpful and friendly crew! They take care of their guests with warmth, kindness and smile on their faces. Highly recommended, we’ll 100% visit it again!

Trato agradable de la recepción. Nos alojamos en el camping con el uso de las instalaciones del hotel. Piscinas sauna duchas cocina y salas. Pagamos 6000 ISK dos personas y una Camper. Ojalá todos los camping de Islandia fueran igual

All the staff and owners are extremely hospitable and friendly, mood of this place is cozy, warm and stylish. Another bonus for super close proximity to hot springs and swimming pool. Location and looks are supreme, highly recommended all year round!!

Super wonderful. Read the reviews here that said to go straight to the hotel (right across from the hot pot, which wasn’t quite hot enough for me that day, that’s nature!) — just 2000k to use the campsite to park, shower in the hotel, enjoy the warm, big, and super cozy lounge in the hotel. The woman that owned the place and welcomed me in was SO wonderful, one of my best experiences in Iceland.

En mi ruta por Islandia, siempre recordaré cuando los dueños de este magnifico hotel nos acogieron a mi y a mi amigo con el que hice mi viaje. |Solo les pedimos dos sillas para cocinar y poder comer sentados, al ver que pasaríamos la noche en nuestra camper a 0°C nos acogieron de manera desinteresada en su hotel. Cena, ducha, cama y desayuno incluido.|Las instalaciones son estupendas y la comida esta increíble.|Creo que Islandia es un gran país no solo por sus paisajes, sino por huéspedes como ellos.

Mi compañero y yo no podemos estar más agradecidos del trato y acogida que tubimos por parte de Halldora y Karl, ambos dueños del hotel, y los trabajadores del mismo, Gilbert y Dácil en este caso unos compatriotas nuestros que nos dieron un trato tan cercano que nos sentimos en casa justo cuando más lo necesitábamos. La comida fue espectacular y el postre casero una delicia, después de sufrir el frío de Islandia no hay nada mejor que un hotel cálido donde te acogen como en tu casa, Halldora nos hizo un tour por todas las instalaciones, es espectacular que este sitio se encuentre en el lugar que está, totalmente MÁGICO, junto a una terma preciosa con vistas a todo el valle, al día siguiente nos levantamos como nuevos y calientes y nos preparon un buen almuerzo, tanto yo Gerard como mi amigo Adam queremos recomendar totalmente la estancia en DALAHOTEL y volvemos a agrader el trato y cercanía. Nos llevamos un recuerdo y experiencia que jamás olvidaremos de nuestro viaje. Mil gracias !

I am giving this hotel and campsite a five star review because of the wonderful generosity of the gentleman running the front (I assume the owner).||Very nice campsite with small hot pot and stunning views of the valley. Quiet. Camping facilities are basic but provided weather is good, all you need - picnic tables, outdoor washing facilities, spacious washroom with good counter space. ||Best, however, was the helpful gentleman at the front. Woke up to find the car battery had died. Car rental company (Lotus) was totally unhelpful. Nicely told us that it wasn’t their problem despite our expensive insurance package purchase. ||The gentleman came to our rescue, making two attempts with two different personal vehicles to boost our car battery. It was a success but while waiting he added, “if this doesn’t work, I have an employee starting in an hour who knows everything about cars and is from this area. I’ll send him over.”||Such generosity, just helping tourists in trouble. 5 stars for him, who did this for free (he declined my offer of a 5000 Kr note at the end). 1 star for Lotus who did nothing in return for our $700 insurance package, other than provide a phone number. ||Clearly a hotel that goes above and beyond in service.
