Charmant hôtel en pleine nature. Les chambres sont confortables, la déco y est cosy et chaleureuse. L'accueil est agréable.|La vue sur la mer au levée du soleil est particulièrement top.|Nous n'avons pas mangé au restaurant donc nous ne pouvons pas juger de la qualité des plats, en revanche, les prix nous ont paru particulièrement excessif par rapport aux autres hôtels que nous avons fréquenté de la même gamme, et ce, même pour l'Islande !

Beautiful remote spot on the coast. Amazing views. Room was spacious and comfortable. Service was great along with breakfast buffet. Definitely walk to the beach for the views. Lovely common area in the reception. Loved this hotel and the surrounding area.

The Fosshotel are a great chain of conveniently located locations and this one is easily a good spot for the peninsula. I do not recommend adding the breakfast as there are some issues I felt with this. They make it an awkward check in process to ensure you paid for it (I am used to hotels that just include this for all guests and there’s no check in process). I also prefer to be able to eat my food in my room comforts, but they have signage stating they will charge you (more!) if you take food, they say it’s to avoid waste, but it feels like a tacky thing to place in a hotel with the costs they lie at.||I booked the ocean view room, which is a little more than a standard. I DO NOT recommend this upgrade. The window faces the ocean, but the location is pretty far from the coastline and there are homes that lie between your window and the ocean. While here and when I was undressed in the room, I saw a few times that someone from the buildings infront of our windows were looking back at us and I had to dunk down and close the blinds. I paid the extra to lose privacy and feel like I had to shut the blinds the whole time. Save your money on this and get the other room, the rooms completely opposite to the ocean might be facing north for northern lights chances too.

The view from the hotel is stunning. You can access the cliff walk to Arnarstapi right from the hotel parking lot by walking a short distance down to the sea. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast included a good variety of items. Check in and out was easy and staff were welcoming and friendly. We would stay again.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Küste. Von hier startet der Wanderweg nach Anarstapi. In die andere Richtung hat man Blick auf den Snaefellsjökull, wenn die Sicht gut ist. So hat man von manchen Zimmern Meerblick, von anderen Bergblick. Nette, kleinere, gemütliche Unterkunft. Frühstück und auch Abendessen waren sehr gut.

Stayed here for one night. Yes the rooms are small , and the bath is small , yes. But the hotel is in a very good location. Customer service was very good. We also had dinner here which was very good. I had the vegan spaghetti, And my partner had the baked cod. We both enjoyed our dinner very much. Had a glass of wine and also a cheesecake. The view from dinner was beautiful. All was good. Recommend the restaurant.

This was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed at. Everything about it was perfect. The location was great. The rooms were very nice, beds comfortable, although they do get a little warm (we came in August) I was happy to have my portable fans to stick in the window. The bathroom floor is HEATED! We only had dessert and breakfast at the restaurant but it was delicious. Their cheesecake is a must. The views are great. The little Cafe is within walking distance. The staff was friendly. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
