We are a couple, visited in mid-March for an o/n stay.

A small and cosy cabin by the lake, yet spacious enough for all our belongings. We took the family bungalow, and it was the rightmost corner unit offering privacy and a larger living space.

We were warmy welcomed by the owner's dog who charmed our hearts. Loved that the parking lot is right next to the unit which makes loading and unloading convenient. The apartment had everything we could ask for - basic necessities like kitchen towel, herbs and spices for cooking, and shower foam.

We were lucky to have the opportunity to view the Northern lights from here as well. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for an accommodation around the area.

Absolute peace and relaxation! An excellent choice for a stay of more than one night, and also to see the Northern Lights—even at the end of August.

Hele mooie, rustige plek. Prachtig uitzicht over het meer, de paarden en schapen die op het terrein staan. Het bed ligt heerlijk.
Keuken is simpel maar doet zijn taak 👍🏽
Onze favouriete guesthouse stay so far 🙂

Merci à la propriétaire pour sa disponibilité et son accueil chaleureux. Le logement est fonctionnel et très bien situé. Le chien des propriétaires est adorable et viendra peut-être vous faire un petit coucou. Nous recommandons cet endroit.

Kleine Hütte direkt am See. Ich war Anfang Januar dort, um die Halbinsel Snaefellsness zu besuchen. Die Hütte ist gut gelegen, da alles wesentliche schnell erreicht werden kann. Ein Supermarkt ist nur 10 min entfernt.
Aufgrund der Lage am See, ist es absolut ruhig. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich. Die Hütte selbst ist gut ausgestattet.

The best stay during our 10 days trip in Iceland! The bungalow was perfect and spotlessly clean, the design very cozy, and we had everything we needed to cook a nice meal after our long drive. The value was 10/10 for this place, it’s in a beautiful location yet easily reachable. Our host Lara was always available and very thoughtful, we loved their dog Moli who came to visit us everyday! 💕
