A small church located on top of a hill in a small costal village in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula that could use some repairs. It is located in a scenic area with a sea and Mountainous landscape. Very quiet and peaceful with not many visitors. Free parking and an information board; the church was not open. If you are in the area it is worth the stop to take pictures.

Another red-roof church ✅

This super sweet church is located in Hellnar right along 574 before the town of Arnarstapi.

She's not as polished as others but she has history and a scenic backdrop.

If you are visiting Iceland for its churches I'd defiantly give this small one some love ❤️

I must admit this Church in Hellnar looks worse than most others. It seems neglected with some rust on its metal construction, as well faded roof. It was closed so we couldn't enter
