This was our first time traveling with a tour group company and we loved it.  I'm used to making all the arrangements, figuring out where to go and what to do and where to stay and I'm pretty good at it.  But it was so relaxing to not have to worry about any of that and just enjoy the journey.

We did the Iceland Northern Lights Circle Tour and I feel like we got a very good overall feel for the country and all it's amazing scenery and heritage.  The provided meals were very good with a couple truly superb dinners.

Our tour guide, Simon, told us he has been leading tours for over 10 years and he was very very good. Funny, informative, and personable, he kept the perfect balance of education and interesting facts with times to just gaze out the window.

We were slightly disappointed that he didn't control the weather too, so we could be guaranteed Northern Lights every night and sunshine on his favorite replica of the Eiffel Tower on the beach (it was shrouded in fog when we went by), but maybe that will come with weaponizing the volcanoes.

All bantering aside, we wouldn't hesitate to use Nordic Visitor again, and we're sold on the idea of small group tours.

We visited Nordic visitor and booked Norway in a nutshell with them to travel between Oslo, Flam and Bergen.
Our experience with them was exceptional !
Their attention to detail in terms of information provided Bookings made even to the point of having a sitting on the best side of the Oslo to Bergen Railway for our journey, so that we saw the most spectacular scenery was second to none.
Their response time is excellent also and their ability to answer the simplest questions was wonderful.

Just completed my tour with Nordic Visitor (Winter Highlights & Northern Lights tour Mar 5-10 2025). Like many others, my hope and top priority was to see the Northern Lights. Our Guide, David's exuberance and humor insured us that we were about embark on a great Icelandic experience. He was able to keep us on a schedule that allowed us to arrive punctual to our destinations allowing us to have time to explore and take photos. His knowledge of Icelandic history and folklore was impressive. Our group was a mixture of different ages and he was able to make us all feel our individual needs were important. As the tour progressed I found myself being a satisfied customer even if I didn't see the lights. But then we did see the lights and that made an already great tour perfect. Our group harmonize well together due to David's ability to make us all feel welcomed and valued. Thank Nordic Visitor for an experience of a lifetime.

Thank you to Nordic Visitor for a perfect trip to Iceland. Gerda and Hanna were both exceptional to work with. They were quick to respond to any questions I had and additions or changes I made during planning. I chose the South Iceland at Leisure tour and it was perfect. We saw so much of the countryside and had daily activities booked. We stayed very busy but wanted to do as much as possible in the time we had to spend in Iceland. My travel guru, Rakel was amazing! She was attentive to each and every detail of my Christmas Trip to Reykjavik and got back to me in a very timely manner for any questions I had. This was my first trip to Iceland and I was traveling solo as a senior woman. My trip was affected by a snowstorm in Iceland a few days before I set out from Boston that affected a few tours that needed to be rescheduled and moved around to other days. Rakel didn’t miss a beat! She checked in on me, rescheduled tours while speaking to me on the phone and listened patiently to any concerns I expressed! She is a knowledgeable delightful person who wanted me to have a wonderful trip to Iceland over the Christmas holiday. Our trip to Iceland from October 20-27 was simply amazing. From our interactions with our agent Kristin H., our tour guide Havar Sigurjonsson and the hotels along the way our Northern Lights adventure was amazing. Iceland is both picturesque and exciting, our group of 16 packed so much in, from glaciers to waterfalls, geothermals to peaks and valleys - top notch. The Icelandic people were friendly sweet people. We were blessed with great weather too. If we ever have a chance to go back, I would definitely use Nordic Visitor!

Nordic Visitor and our rep Ari were so excellent start to finish, they helped plan and book our honeymoon which was the 10 day self drive winter tour. Every hotel transfer, car hire and activity was completely streamlined and easy, they even accommodated the fact we wanting to be in Iceland for 14 days rather than 10 and enabled extra days for us in Reykjavik. This was the trip of a lifetime.

First time went through a tour with Nordic Visitor in Iceland, the whole trip was really great! Staff are patient and friendly since the first day I booked the trip, Kristín and Viðja always willing to answer my questions and help rearrange per my request in a timely manner.
The tour itself in Iceland -my husband and I enjoyed it so so so much, the package covered all the spots for us to visit. Also we want to shout out to our tour guide - Havar, he is really knowledgeable and friendly, and always shared a lot of local information with us during the trip.
All in all - it was a great experience with Nordic Visitor. Highly recommend everyone to go through their tour package.
