TLDR: Good vegan options, slower service, nice restaurant. Solid 4 stars!

Service: wait staff were kind, but a tad sluggish. Luckily, we were not in a hurry, but note that.

Atmosphere: cozy and bright hotel restaurant that was joyful and clean.

Food: wife had the vegan burger and enjoyed the different flavors with it. It was a tasty burger that could have used a bit more sauce, but overall good! The fries were seasoned well and no real complaints. My "Wellington" is much less a wellington, but a sort of pot pie as us Americans would say. The inside was minced vs solid. It was quite good and again, no complaints, just should probably be advertised as a veggie pie or something.

I like to try fish n chips everywhere I go, and these were phenomenal. I expected the fish n chips just to be thrown on the plate, but it came out in a nice display with some delicious greens, even a rosemary sprig, which made the chips taste even more yummy. Despite it being a busy night, the service still moved quickly. My husband and I were both very delighted to find a restaurant with good quality food in a place that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere.

We had a delicious dinner at the Stracta Hotel restaurant. Food was very good although the nachos left a lot to be desired. Definitely would let recommend them. But the burger and fish and chips were great.

Bistro situato nella stessa struttura dell'omonimo hotel. Il locale e' il tipico di molti ristoranti di hotel ma l'ambiente e' un po' freddino e minimal. Pareti bianche isola bar nera e tavolini con sedie nere e lampadari neri. Per quanto riguarda il cibo ho mangiato una Cesar Salad con ingredienti non corrispondenti a quelli riportati sul menu. I prezzi sono nella media di quelli dell'islanda

Nos alojamos en el hotel una noche y cenamos aquí despues de un dia intenso. La comida nos supo a gloria.
Sopa de tomate muy rica y cogimos con ganas un plato de cuchara calentito. Hamburguesa de salmón rica y hamburguesa normal también aunque el pan y en conjunto un poco grasiento.
Precio caro, pero acorde al pais

Really good vegan options! Moving mountains burger was great. Happy hour too 4-6. Lots of people there but managed a table straight away.

Went to this place versus the food trucks across the street because we wanted to enjoy a sit down experience. The venue of the hotel was nice. They had a bar. Strata was the easy winner. The place was clean and cozy. Service was friendly and the food was tasty. I decided on the dish of the day which was an Atlantic Char. I must say it was perfectly cooked. Flaky , tender and juicy. It was on a bed of vegetables and mashed potatoes. I didn’t care for the mashed potatoes but again the fish was great. We also had the vegan bao and the pork bao. Both good choices as well. We also enjoyed the mushroom bruschetta. I would highly recommend this appetizer. Overall, good food, drinks and service. The food trucks seemed highly rated. We decided to go there for lunch tomorrow.
